What a pleasant experience. I no sooner checked in than I was called to an exam room. Once the preliminaries were done, Dr. Patel came right in. He answered all my questions and gave me insight into my current situation.
So out of the ordinary these days. Thank you for such a great experience.

I've been seeing him for many years -14 I think - can not think how he could be better - sound advice and a great bed side manner - i've been in the hospital several times during these years and he will always drop by - big thank you to him.

I don’t have words to describe Dr. Shalin Patel and if I did, I would not do justice. He is Absolutely one of THE BEST Dr’s I’ve ever come across in Houston and believe me I’ve unfortunately dealt with a lot.
He is caring, passionate and very patient in explaining everything you need to know. If anyone out there is looking for a Nephrologist please do yourself and your family a favor try him out.

Dr. Patel was very thorough and very nice. He explained things that I didn’t understand. I will definitely be going back to him and I will refer him to others who need a doctor for kidneys.

The total time of my visit was 1 hour & 50 minutes with less than 15 minutes spent with Dr. I waited 30 min before being called back (pretty normal). Dr arrived soon after & spent 10-15 minutes reviewing latest labs & saying continue what I was doing. I spent the rest of the time waiting for my “visit summary” to be printed & “checking out”. In addition I receive far too many reminders of my “upcoming” appt. At least 3-4 by text & same by email PLUS phone call reminder. I like to receive a reminder but 1 maybe 2 at most would be be sufficient.
